What is E-Safety?

E-Safety means electronic safety. E-Safety is important because it helps to keep us safe so they can enjoy, explore and have fun when using technology!

Some online dangers include:
  • Cyberbullying – Some people can be mean to us and can do and say unkind things to us.

  • Strangers - Some people online can lie and pretend to be our friends.

  • They might ask for personal information about ourselves

  • Online Material - Some things online are not suitable for us to see.

If people online are mean or worry you?

  • Tell an adult you trust straight away.
  •  Try to stay calm.
  • Report anything that worries you.
  • Try to ignore the person.
  • Block and delete the person, emails and messages.
  • Keep all messages for evidence
