Admissions

Admissions procedures at The Willows School Academy Trust are different to those of mainstream schools. If a pupil is accepted into The Willows School Academy Trust, they will already have an Education and Health Care Plan, which names The Willows School Academy Trust as their school.

The naming of the school on the child's Education and Health Care Plan is carried out by the Local Authority in which the pupil is living, and is done with the support of the parents, and after any such placement is agreed to by the Headteacher.

It is important that, before agreeing to any placement, the parents/carers have viewed The Willows School Academy Trust in order to assess its suitability for their child. The final decision for a place will be made by the placement panel,  made up of the governing body and the school's headteacher. Parents and carers are expected to commit to working in partnership with the school.

The following admissions document will tell you more about how a child comes to The Willows School Academy Trust.
